   Unbelieveable. I waited for months to obtain this book. Unfortunately, it turned out to be more basic than basic: What is an option? What is a spread? What is a limit order? Why should you consider using a full service broker? Nary an ounce of insight beyond the ABC’s.

   If you know anything about trading or commodities, this book will not enlighten you with any new insights — and if you don’t know anything about commodities, there are better introductions (actually, if you don’t know anything about trading commodities, don’t get started now: today’s volatile markets are too treacherous for neophytes).

   This book was VERY disappointing! I kept waiting for him to present strategies, analyses, etc., but all it really is is an “infomercial” for his newsletter. I got more useful information about commodity investing from one (FREE, by the way) Motley Fool website article than I got out of this entire book!

   I have read about fifty books on investing and this one is weak on substance. I am sure Kevin is a good trader and I read his articles online, but this foray into book writing is weak. I would only recommend it for the true novice.
