Take small sections at a time about an inch and start really close to your scalp and go slow. Do this all over it will take about a half hour at least. Then at the end you can use it like a styling tool and go through and restraighten pieces in specific directions. If your hair is still too puffy, consider getting it thinned, and try again. Make sure you dont use store bought products, these will only dry out your hair and/or coat it in a waxy substance. Salon bought products are the way to go. Unless you have a pro stylist, you make it THAT silky and smooth.
